“Swiss Hashgraph Association” launches “Hashgraph Innovation Program” to accelerate the adoption of the Hedera network worldwide

SCHWYZ, Swiss, April 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Hedera Hashgraph entered into a strategic partnership with Swiss Digital Asset Institute (SDAI) – a professional training and education company – for the delivery of a tailor-made global program “Hashgraph Innovation Program” out of Swiss. Hedera has booked $16.3 million value of hbar in grant funding to new nonprofit Swiss Association of Hashgraphers for the ramp-up phase of their Hashgraph innovation program, which will be executed by SDAI. This training and innovation program aims to empower innovative startups, enterprises and government institutions around the world to design and develop enterprise solutions and decentralized applications on the Hedera network.

The Hedera Network is owned and governed by the members of the Hedera Council, a group of the world’s leading organizations responsible for governance of the network, operation of the nodes and allocation of the network’s hbar treasury. Last year, the Board approved the allocation of 10.7 billion hbars (~20% of total supply), worth $5 billion at the time, to foster the development of the Hedera ecosystem.

The Hashgraph Innovation Program is structured to be executed over five years and in three implementation phases. Program participants who qualify and receive a grant from the Swiss Hashgraph Association will go through three stages of development, starting with 1. Learn and discover (training and ideation workshops), followed by 2. Visualize and design (design-thinking and modeling of the proof of concept) and concluding with 3. Develop and deploy (minimum viable product development and integration). Startups with high potential business plans will be eligible to receive grants in HBAR until $250,000companies up to $750,000and government initiatives receive up to $1,500,000 in co-investment financing.
